iMac update soon?

So, Apple has updated almost everything since September, are the iMacs next? It has been 8 months since a big update! Macrumors.com states that there is speculation that Apple will upgrade to quad core CPUs soon.It also suggested not to buy the version out now, for the cycle has surpassed the average cycle, day wise.
